50000 letters without crashing the Printer or MS Word using WordFusion

The Problem

A common problem with doing mass mail outs of 10's of thousands of letters using MS Word is that memory and printer spooling issues can often cause your computer to hang or the printer to stop responding. You then have to crash out of Word leaving you with a partially completed print run, and a 5pm deadline looming.

WordFusion provides an alternative method that does not rely on the stability of Word to do high volume print runs. The data control allows you to connect to any ODBC data source like Access, SQL Server, Excel and paradox to list a few. By connecting this data control to a data source and linking it to Document template you can reliably run large mail merge runs.

Another feature allows you to pause and restart the print run during the mail merge.

The WordFusion document assembly (Mail Merge) engine is integrated with the data control to provide document assembly features above and beyond those provided by simple mail merge.
